The Process:
- We know the anxiety behind hearing that you need a root canal. But Root canals don’t have to be stressful or painful ( Other than that HOT TOOTH!).
- During your Root Canal Therapy at Studio City Smiles, we take our time to make sure that you achieve sufficient anesthesia to ensure the treatment is pain free. Then we remove the infected pulp from the affected tooth, properly clean and shape the canal and seal it to prevent infection. A Dental crown may be then placed to restore the tooth for strength and/or esthetics. The duration of the treatment varies depending on the complexity of the case and the tooth be treated but generally is 60-90 minutes. It can sometimes take two appointments for completion.
