Studio City Smiles is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our office serves patients of all abilities, and we want our website to reflect that.

Our standard

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law. Steps we have taken include:

• Descriptive alternative text on images, including our before and after photos
• Text and background colors chosen for strong contrast
• Full keyboard navigation of menus, service panels, and the appointment form
• Clear headings and landmarks so screen readers can move through the page
• Form fields with visible labels, and required fields that receive focus when missed
• Text that can be enlarged in your browser without breaking the layout
• No content that flashes or auto-plays

Known limitations

The before and after photo comparison uses a draggable slider. It can also be operated with the keyboard using a range control, but the visual comparison itself is not available to screen reader users; the alternative text for each photo describes the treatment shown. We continue to review the site and welcome reports of anything that is difficult to use.
