Notice of Privacy Practices
How we protect your health information
Federal law requires Studio City Smiles to keep your health information private and to give you a Notice of Privacy Practices. That notice explains how we may use and share your health information, your rights regarding it, and how to reach us with questions or concerns.
Every patient receives our full Notice of Privacy Practices at their first visit, and you may request a copy at any time, free of charge, whether or not you are a current patient.

What the notice covers
- How we may use and disclose your health information for treatment, payment, and running our practice
- Situations where we may share information without your written authorization, and situations where we must have it
- Your rights, including the right to see and get a copy of your records, to request corrections, to request restrictions on how we use your information, to request confidential communications, and to receive a list of certain disclosures
- How to file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and that you will not be penalized for filing one
